***ABOUT THE PRODUCTION PROCESS
1. A technician cuts the rough boulders into suitable sizes of slabs, blocks, or dice for carvings or beads.
2. Designers and sculptors decide on standard and custom patterns for carvings.
3. Artisans carve the blocks into rough shapes, then do an initial polish before detailed carving begins.
4. Carvers use drills to put details on the rough shapes.
5. Polishers complete the items in a multi-step process:
--items are polished by hand
--carvings are vibrated with diamond grains to ensure that every surface is polished
--items are soaked in liquid wax to enhance natural translucence and depth of color
--carvings are vibrated with solid wax for a more enduring shine

With careful supervision of every step, a rough rock becomes a shining masterpiece - a lifeless stone becomes a living work or art.
